Statement by EU HR Ashton on ICC's summonses related to post-election violence in Kenya

"I take note of the International Criminal Court's decision to issue summonses for six individuals to appear for their alleged roles in the 2007-2008 Kenyan post-election violence. I urge the named individuals to cooperate fully with the ICC.

The EU fully supports and respects the International Criminal Court and its key role in the promotion of international justice."
