Statement by the spokesperson of EU HR Ashton on the bombing in Mahabad, Iran

Sommaire: 23 September 2010, New York - The Spokesperson of Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the Commission, issued the following statement today on the bombing in Mahabad, Iran:

"The High Representative Catherine Ashton strongly condemns the bombing in Mahabad, Iran, that killed at least 12 innocent people and wounded many more on Wednesday 22 September, a terrorist attack for which there is no justification. HR Ashton sends her condolences and expresses her solidarity with the families and friends of the victims."
